Munnar is one of the most famous hill station situated on the Western Ghats at the height of 1600 metres above the sea level. It is essentially a tea town – miles of unending tea plantation can be seen here. On the way visit two beautiful waterfalls as Cheeyappara and Valara. You can go for the Spice plantations, Rubber Plantations, Pineapple garden etc… Arrive and check into the hotel. Overnight at hotel. After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Thekkady (110 kms / 3.30 hrs). Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife reserves. Enroute visit Devikulam, Signal view Point, Anayirangal Dam, Spice Plantations etc. Arrive and check in to hotel. Afternoon enjoys a boating (on own) at man made lake and this is the only wild life sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close from the safety of a boat on the lake. The probable animals to watch are Bison, Gaur, Wild Elephants, Sambhar and a wide variety of birds. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel. Today, after having your breakfast at resort, Check-Out from the your hotel and drive towards the Alleppey; also known as Venice of the east by its special geographical features as the place is famous for its vast back water stretches and paddy fields. After reaching Alleppey drives towards your houseboat Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 12:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. After lunch visit the famous Vivekananda rock which is situated in the sea and the huge statue of Thiruvalluvar on the rock.
